The Stunning Coastline of San Teodoro

Just 15 minutes south of Olbia by car lies one of the world’s most famous beaches: La Cinta, in the municipality of San Teodoro.Renowned for its fine, white sand, it’s considered one of the Mediterranean’s greatest treasures.

La Cinta is a sweeping arc of soft white sand stretching nearly 5 kilometers, bordered by clear, shimmering waters in countless shades of blue. Its shallow seabed makes it ideal for families with children.

La Cinta is extremely popular in summer, yet it never loses its natural charm: sea, wild landscapes, and native fauna—including the striking presence of pink flamingos among many bird species.

Completing this idyllic scene is the breathtaking view: from La Cinta, you can admire the marine area of Coda Cavallo and the island of Tavolara.

This stretch of coast is part of the Marine Protected Area of Tavolara–Capo Coda Cavallo, created to safeguard natural species. Together with the National Park of the La Maddalena Archipelago, it forms a true natural wonder.

The beautiful La Cinta beach in San Teodoro is reachable from Villa Castànza in about 20 minutes by car.
