Beautiful Villa in a fabulous location. There is lots to see and do all within walking distance, especially some beautiful swim spots!
The place is exactly as the pictures show.
Francesca was very lovely & responsive and Martin & Monica were so friendly and helpful through the check in and during our stay if we needed anything. The garden is gorgeous and such a lovely spot to spend time with friends, we could have stayed for weeks!

Highlights:
- Francesca had excellent and prompt communication and very good local tips for restaurants and activities
- Martin and Monica made us feel welcome and were very helpful during our stay
- The views! We cancelled some of our plans just to stay local and enjoy the views from the patio. Morning, afternoon, and evening were all breathtaking
- Walking distance to local beaches. We really liked the quieter, less crowded beaches that can be reached by a short walk from the house
- Nearby water activities. Porto San Paolo was nearby and offered boat rentals and sailing excursions as well as wonderful gelato!
- Separate garden bedroom. This worked perfectly to offer my daughter and her husband some privacy during our stay. The outdoor bath was enjoyed as well!

The views are priceless even better than the pictures, if any one is looking for views then this is the place to be. Support team Martin and Monica are on stand by, if anything is needed they supplied fresh eggs and fresh tomatoes from their garden. Really beautiful peaceful villa, very well positioned to visit the neighboring towns and beaches. The whole familly loved it . Would really love to visit Francesca's villa again and highly recommend it.

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa Castànza war ein Traum. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder (1,5 und 9 Jahre). Somit hatten wir also genügend Platz. Besonders toll fanden wir die Terrasse mit dem herrlichen Essplatz und den unterschiedlichen Sitz- und Liegegelegenheiten. Die Aussicht war einfach herrlich und man kann gut einen Tag auch einfach auf der Terrasse "verbummeln". Martin und Monica - die sich im und um Haus um alles kümmern - waren immer sehr hilfsbereit und haben alles absolut wunderbar hergerichtet. Alles war sauber und gemütlich. Nur die Kindermatratze war unserer großen Tochter zu hart. Ansonsten war wirklich alles top. Da wir oft auf Sardinien sind, sind wir zu den Stränden gefahren, die wir bereits kannten. Mit Kindern wollten wir nicht lange laufen und der Strand von Porto Istana war im September doch sehr voll. Aber es gibt ja reichlich schöne Strände vor Ort. Wir können Villa Castànza definitiv weiterempfehlen und wir denken gerne an das wunderschöne Panorama zurück.
"This is place is just stunning!!! I haven’t been to a private home nor a hotel with this spectacular view. It is just stunning. And you can sit for hours just watching the beautiful ocean. The house is very cosy and the functionality works well. Very tasteful and traditional Italian style combined with a continental style. We were there during strict travel restrictions because of COVID and had all meals in the house. Small but very well functional kitchen. Be aware there is no oven, but the microwave works for some and you need to make use of your pans, which there are plenty of. The host Francesca was incredibly helpful and communicating in flawless English. Can’t recommend this place enough. IT IS JUST STUNNING!"
"It was a marvellous experience, exceeding out expectations. The house is embedded into a gorgeous scenery, quite close to airport and a city, but being secluded nevertheless. Fantastic beaches in walking distance, restaurants and supermarktes just around the corner. Absolute top service from Francesca as owner and Martin/Monica as house keeper, made us feel really comfortable. Everything is spotless clean and towels changed regularly. House, location, service to be highly recommended. We want to come again."
"We stayed her for 3 weeks, and this house is our perfect idea of what a house be the sea ought to be. Ensconced in nature, far out on the peninsula, perched on a hill catching sea views and breezes, this house is a snug little roost after epic beach days. The patio is such a great place to hang out and dine. The Tre Sorelle beaches are a 10 minute walk down a cool trail; these beaches are wild gems: uncrowded, undeveloped and low-key. Martin and Monica the house keepers are very helpful with everything from fresh eggs to cool suggestions such as hiring local Captain Michele for a cruise to Tavolara on his old wooden boat."

La maison de Francesca est un havre de paix dans un jardin soigné avec de multiples plantations et avec une vue époustouflante à 180 degrés sur la mer, encore plus belle que sur les photos. Il y a des maisons alentour et cependant on se sent seuls au monde. La maison est parfaitement équipée et entretenue pour un séjour où l’on se sent vraiment chez soi et où l’on apprécie de passer la journée. Gros coup de cœur pour celle des 3 salles de bain qui est en plein air avec vue mer ! 3 petites plages familiales idylliques, fréquentées mais sans grande foule, suivant le choix de 5 à 30 minutes à pied dans la nature. Communication toujours rapide et efficace avec Francesca et sur place accueil et assistance vraiment ultra charmants et efficaces par Martin et Monica. Magasins d’alimentation à 10 minute max en voiture. Une semaine enchantée."
